5130 Main Street

While the building at 5130 Main Street is currently home to Wasabi, it has also housed many popular local restaurants over the years.

The Grove Restaurant was located here in the 1960s. By the 1980s, Mike’s restaurant operated as a breakfast and lunch café. Dali’s Café came later and stayed open until 2009. Surrealist artist Salvador Dalí inspired the café’s interiors and exteriors. The restaurant’s exterior featured bold black and red signage. Kristina’s Café took over the building in the 2010s.

Wasabi Restaurant and Bar opened in 2020 with a ribbon-cutting on January 30th. Wasabi features Pan-Asian cuisine and is known for its Ramen and Sushi.
