Lidell & Williams Label

This label was found on the back of a head block, also known as a bullseye, in the The Guy and Belle Wheeler House during remodeling. This item can be found in the 1897 Catalog Supplement from Lidell and Williams. It was number item 222 on page 7. It shows it was sold to “A. R. Heck…” which aligns with the original homeowner Alfred R Heckman who, with his brother-in-law William Straube, laid out Straube’s Subdivision in 1890, where the house is located.
