The Downers Grove Historical Society will present a new plaque to recognize the Belmont Prairie as its Historic Site for 2024. This will take place at 10AM on August 24 which is the 44th anniversary of Belmont Prairie being recognized as a State of Illinois Nature Preserve in 1980.
