Malcolm Blackburn was one of two sons of freed slave Israel Blackburn buried in Main Street Cemetery. He was born in Kentucky in 1850. Israel and brother Malcolm died with a year of each other. They are both recognized with a single replacement headstone in the cemetery. Their father outlived both of these sons and was later buried in the Main Street Cemetery in 1902.
