Welcome to Kurt Metzler, our newest Board Member!
After volunteering for a couple of years with the Downers Grove Historical Society, we are pleased to announce that Kurt Metzler has been named as a director on the board of the Downers Grove Historical Society. Kurt has an extensive knowledge of website design and was instrumental in creating our new website. He will also be keeping us technologically up to date. Kurt and his wife Cathy first moved to Downers Grove in 1992 and then, after a two-year stint in New York City, moved back to DG in 1997. There, they raised their two sons and are now in their fourth home in Downers. Kurt works as a freelance art director and web designer and has a lot of experience working with non-profit organizations and educational institutions. In his spare time, he enjoys rehabbing homes, travel, live music and painting.
