Nancy Olivia Adams married her husband Alexander Foster in 1839. She was the daughter of Jonas Russell Adams and Olivia Seely. Jonas served as lieutenant in the War of 1812.
She raised a family of eight children while her husband fought in the Civil War. Nancy died at the age of 67 after a long illness.
