The John Oldfield House was approved as a Centennial Home in 1995. Later in 2016, it was designated as a village Historical Landmark.

The house was built in 1883. The original land it stands on was owned by John Carpenter and John Gall. The home is a Victorian Farmhouse and has 9 rooms.

Alexander Foster and wife Nancy Olivia Foster also lived in this home.
