Built circa 1893, this Historic Home is a Queen Anne style home. Notable Queen Anne features of the home are wood shingles in the front gable on the 3rd floor level and front porch spindlework.
This home was constructed by local builders W. J. Herring & J. O. Daily. They built many homes and buildings in downtown Downers Grove including the Farmer’s & Merchant’s Bank. Once the home was finished the Herring sold his interest to Daily who then sold the home to his sister Lois Daily.
