Helen was the daughter of Jeanette Kenyon and Elijah Root, and granddaughter of Abigail Stearns and Martin Root. Like many children of the time, she died as a small child. She was born in 1877 and died in 1882. She was one of her three siblings to be buried on this Root plot and the last of the Root family to be buried in Main Street Cemetery.
