Mary Bartee was the daughter of Charles Bartee and Jane McGregor. The family moved to Downers Grove in 1875 but in 1891 they moved to Remington, Indiana. Mary is the only member of the family buried in the cemetery, as she is the only one that passed away while they family lived in the area. Note that her father Charles Bartee also has a stone here, but he is actually buried in Indiana with wife Jane.
