Mitchell and Catherine Heintz were the original owners of this Folk Victorian home built in 1891. Mitchell owned 80 acres of farmland and in 1882 is indicated to have “gone into harness” with George Evans Downer (grandson of Pierce Downer, founder of Downers Grove).
